we have deemed it necessary to replace the SATA backplane. What is the backplane? The backplane is simply the piece of hardware that is utilized to provide hotswap capabilities to all of the hard drives in the server.
This maintenance is being performed to ensure that the server\'s RAID array operates in a fully functional state and to ensure your data is safe.

MAINTENANCE WINDOW: 02/08/2009 @ 11:00pm (EST) - 02/09/2009 @ 7:00am (EST)
