How often do you search in the online yellow pages for a particular business, only to find that they do not have a website? How often do members of the business community hand you a business card with an email address @yahoo.com or the like? In today’s business world it is amazing to see just how many businesses still do not have a web presence.
Once you have a website you can list your website address on your business cards, flyers and pamphlets, bulletin boards and even the company sign that you have hanging on the side of your building. In fact, you can save money on these other marketing tools by having a website. For example, you can feature an electronic version of your catalog on your website, with no limit on size. You can describe all of your products and services in greater detail because space on your website is significantly less expensive then full color print. And what happens if you need to make a change, such as if you delete or add products or services? Are you going to reprint all of your printed marketing materials? On a website, you have the ability to make the necessary changes
For your clients, they will have the convenience of reading about your company and the services and products you offer on their own time. In today’s world, people lead very busy lives when you consider the commitment of their careers and family. By having a well presented website, you lend yourself to the convenience of your clients. They can come to you when they want to. If you add a “Contact Us” link onto your website, it allows your customers to contact you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can drive traffic to your site to learn all about your company and what you have to offer. Your clients can get a much better idea about your business because you can feature multiple pages on your site with greater details about the different aspects of your company, products and services. You can even provide directions to your place of business, making it easier for customers to find you.
By having a web presence, you expand your market significantly. You make yourself available to people in other time zones and even across the globe rather than the limited market audience you can reach in your local geographical area. And at a fraction of the cost! With a website there is less need to send out expensive mailings to purchased mail lists that are often unreliable. Even those mailings that do make it to the target audience are thrown away without ever being looked at.
Internet advertising is more targeted to a specific audience. The clients who visit your website are there because they have a specific interest in your company’s product or service, which you can use to your advantage. You can allow customers or potential customers to sign up for a newsletter or sales flyer, which you can send to them via e-mail. By collecting e-mail addresses from willing visitors to your website you can stay in contact with them without having to pay for printing or postage
The morale of the story is this - whether you are a small business owner, inventor, entrepreneur, artist, author, musician or band, you need a website. In the world we live in increasingly people are turning to the Internet to find information, and if you don’t have a presence on the Internet you will not only be making it more difficult for people to find you, but you will be sending the wrong message.
Let us be your creative ability get your website today! www.pgwebs.com
Top 5 Tips to creating effective Blog
Blogs have made a grand entrance into the marketing realm. Why? They can be a successful marketing tool if done rights.Blogs have core components that increase their success such as content, distribution, and frequency, but you need more than that to get people to read it.
Popular blogs have one thing in common; an individual voice. A voice will not only gain readers, but it keeps them.
Learn how to create your voice using these 5 blogging tips:
1. Create a Blog PersonalityDon't formulate your posts. Let your voice shine through. Give your blog a personality.

Business Card Lifeline?

A business card is your lifeline to customers and one of the most basic – and useful – marketing tools on the planet. It really can play a big role in helping you gain, or lose the interest of a potential customer. Your card represents you when you are no longer there, or many even be the “face” of you and your business to people who’ve never met you. You need a well-designed card that conveys the proper image and information about your business. And it has to be concise. An effective card can:
- Serve as a silent salesperson. Long after the customer has received it, the card is a reminder of a product or service.
- Provide superior customer service to clients. A properly executed card saves the customer time by putting them directly in touch with the right person.
- Communicate a message to customers about your business.
- Create repeat customers since they have a reminder in their card file of your business.
- Be a word-of-mouth marketing tool if you ask every customer to pass on your card to friends and colleagues.
Decide on a concept |
| Your card should reflect your image. You may prefer a straightforward design with a logo and contact information. If you're in a creative field, you'll need to show some personality on your card. In other professional industries, such as real estate, a photograph may be appropriate. |
Include all the details |
| Your business card design should include all of the information you want your clients to have, but beware of making the card look like the fine print of a credit card. It seems obvious, but oftentimes the business card is the first thing that small business owners set up, before they have a physical address, website or email address. Let P.GWEBS DESIGNS be your Creative Ability! We can customize your business a great looking product. "So I'm Thinking"

So I'm thinking, every day as I drive to the office in the morning I pass by this huge construction project that is be developed. I have a perfect view of it from the highway and I have been able to see it from the very begining when they first starting clearing the brush etc. They slowing cleared the area and had all kinds of crews out there working on the land. Seriously this is alot of work i was thinking. I have seen them working for MONTHS just doing this. Later on not paying much attention to it months had gone by and the land looks great I mean this field is like perfect and smooth no uneven areas. The next day I woke up and did my normal routine and as I was on my way to work I turned to look at the site where these men had worked months on. It was completly flooded and there equipment was flooded in and the land was a mess it was terrible. I saw and immediatly theLord began to speak to me and gave me some understanding on why I was paying so much attention to what I have been seeing all these months.
I believe that we are in a time of building and the Lord is preparing his children, the same way the workers have worked the construction site is the same as in our lives. We need to go through a time of cleaning and restoration and be able to hear what the Lord is saying. The only way for this to happen is for us to have a foundation. We will have many times of trial and tribulation and I truly believe this is so we can overcome them, we have been called to be over-comers and not called to sit back and watch and accept what the enemy brings our way, but that is another topic. As I was saying is we have to have a season of restoration and time where we are to press in and seek the face of the Lord. During this time change will take place in our life and our spirit is ACTIVATED and we began to move in the things that we are called to do. Now I know I may sound like I'm rambling on but who cares lol. Now to come to a close on this topic after our foundation has been set and we have that personal relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ we are than able to see this mass mega structure come to life in our spiritual walk and we will begin to move in the signs and wonders with the healing, prophetic, moving in the gifts, and we will become that end time army that we are called to be!
Thanks for reading and be blessed..

11246 Equal Discrimination, Design Project

11246 Equal Discrimination
About the Author
----------------------
Robert Ontiveros lives in San Antonio, Texas with his wife and family. This is his first book. He drew inspiration from Martin Luther King, Jr.’s views on equality and Jesus’ practice of loving everyone equally and treating people the way you would want to be treated, “The Golden Rule”.
Authors Notes
----------------------
This book is going to explain why I believe the Federal Government, more specifically the agency within the U.S. Department of Labor, called the “Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs”, OFCCP for short, discriminates against Males and Anglos when conducting its investigations. However, as I detail the facts which I uncovered throughout my approximately 17 years as a Compliance Officer (aka Equal Opportunity Specialist, Investigator, Auditor) with the OFCCP, I will also be discussing the harassment and intimidation that I and fellow Compliance Officers suffered at the hands of the District Director, because the two issues are so intertwined that it would be hard to separate the two. Having said this, I will, where possible, not include instances of harassment that I or former Compliance Officer’s (COs) were subjected to if it does not directly relate to the first issue, since this is not the reason why I wrote this book.

Does your small business need a Web site?
Part 1 What to consider before you say no
by Andrea Harris
Do you really need a Web site for your small business? You’re busy, don’t want to bother, don’t want to spend the money. But then there’s that nagging feeling that you ought to have a presence on the Web.Before you spend any money on a Web site ask yourself these questions. The answers will help you understand first, if you need a Web site, and second, how a site can enhance your business.
Do your prospective clients use the Web to look for your type of products or services? These days, people use the Web to find just about everything, even the ubiquitous kitchen sink! (That’s exactly where I found mine when I had my kitchen remodeled.) If you offer a professional service your clients will expect to find you on the Web.
Do you sell or offer a service that people research before they buy?Chances are, you’re not offering something that people buy on impulse. For example, if you’re a consultant, prospective clients will want to research your background. A Web site gives you an opportunity to explain your services and highlight your results via case studies.
Do your competitors have Web sites?Imagine that a prospective client is considering hiring your business and is attempting to use the Web to compare your services to the competition’s. If you don’t have a site, it makes you appear less established and professional. It’s like not having a business card.
Are your competitors larger than you? If your business is very small, or you’re just starting out, you may want it to appear larger than it is. The Web can help you level the playing field. A well-crafted, highly professional Web site gives the appearance that your business is large and established.
Do you spend a lot of time explaining your business to prospective clients?Perhaps you’re a technology consultant specializing in a complicated area of business. You find yourself explaining exactly what you do over and over again. Instead, post a clear, concise statement of what you do on the Web and you’ll head off those clients that never needed your type of service in the first place.
Is it important that your business project a highly professional image?Perhaps you work at home in your bathrobe. Who needs to know? They won’t figure it out from your professional Web site. In fact, a well designed site can project whatever image you want for your business, whether it’s ultra-conservative or young and hip.
Do your clients themselves have Web sites? If they do, you can bet that they consider the Web to be an important business asset and would think it strange if you don’t have one.
Do you want to expand your business beyond your current customer base?If you want to grow your business you’ll need a Web site to reach clients in new areas. Suppose you’ve always focused on one industry but now want to offer a new service tailored to a different industry. You could create a special section on your Web site that resonates with the new, intended audience.
Do you want to reduce your sales and marketing costs?Printing collateral can be expensive. Then you have to figure out how to get it into the hands of your prospects. You can put the same type of content on your Web site, update it easily when you have changes, and send emails to prospects to entice them to your site.Do you find yourself answering the same customer questions, again and again?Avoid repeating the same answers over and over by providing the information on your Web site. Your customers will be happy to get the answers they need at their own convenience.
Do you want to increase the effectiveness of your business development activities?A Web site is a great way to reinforce the effectiveness of your other business development and marketing efforts, such as ads and press releases. If you put your Web address on all of your materials you can draw people to your site, where you can provide more details. If you speak at conferences or write industry articles to increase your visibility, a Web site can expand the details in your bio.
Now that you’ve articulated (at least in your head) the answers to these questions you’ve got a good idea of why your business should have a Web site. You understand that a Web site isn’t just a "cool" thing to have – it’s an important asset that can work double-duty to help your business succeed. And even if you don’t expect new prospects to discover you via the Web, you know that a Web site will help you at the next stage, when clients are researching your qualifications and background. Not having a Web site is a knock-off; it makes you look like you’re not serious about your business. http://www.pgwebs.com/

Do You Have The "Yellow Blues?"

Do You Have The Yellow Blues?
Well this is my thought there are so many people out there who are paying thousands of dollars to the Yellows (Yellow Pages). What exactly is the "Yellow Blues" you might ask, well it's a combination of things such as paying for a website that you will NEVER own, and when you do finally get your website after long hours of on hold time with someone in another country you than realize that that you have to pay MONTHLY FEES for which can start from 75.00 dollars a month on up ! That's $900.00 dollars a yearat minimum! Yea and you don't own it, Now if you like boring templated websites which means exactly how it sounds TEMPLATED the only difference between yours and other clients of the "Yellows" is color and text than go ahead and live with your "Yellow Blues." http://www.goththeyellowblues.com/
I would love to hear some comments regarding your encounter with the "Yellows"

Does Your Local Business Need a Website?

Does Your Local Business Need a Website?
If you want to attract customers, the answer's a no-brainer
Websites are perhaps the most overlooked vehicle of advertising for local, owner-operated businesses. Yes, every retailer needs one. Every dentist, lawyer, accountant and minister needs one. Every café, restaurant, coffee shop and nightclub needs one. Every wholesale supply company needs one.
I'm not suggesting that all these businesses need to actually transact business online. I'm only saying that everyone listed in yesterday's Yellow Pages needs to also be available on the internet today--it's where your customers expect to find you.
